How to Play
Sudoku is a logic-based number placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids contains all of the digits from 1 to 9.
Game Rules:
- Fill in the empty cells with numbers from 1 to 9
- Each row must contain all numbers from 1-9
- Each column must contain all numbers from 1-9
- Each 3x3 box must contain all numbers from 1-9
- No number can appear twice in the same row, column, or 3x3 box
Tips & Strategies
- Start with the most obvious numbers
- Use the process of elimination
- Look for patterns in rows and columns
- Check each 3x3 box for missing numbers
- Use pencil marks to track possible numbers
About the Game
Sudoku gained worldwide popularity in 2004, becoming one of the most popular puzzles of all time. The name "Sudoku" is an abbreviation of the Japanese phrase "Sūji wa dokushin ni kagiru" (数字は独身に限る), meaning "the digits must remain single."
